Overview

YWAM Arusha established a field center in Engikaret village of Longido district in 2005 firstly with a pre-school class to help prepare local children to go to school and keep them away from taking care of their family livestock when they ought to be in school. Two years later we built our mission center and have a team of staff members move in to stay on-site and serve the local community more comprehensively. With the help of our international partners we were able to build a mission center able to house considerable number of workers for the pre-school and other programs as well as to use for our various activities.
