YWAM Marine Reach New Zealand purchased a new ship, the M/V Pacific Hope in Japan, in March 2013.
YWAM Marine Reach New Zealand has been looking for and raising money for a new ship since 2009 when they donated the old ship, the M/V Pacific Hope, to YWAM Australia. In March they purchased this new ship, and in July the ship arrived in it’s home port, Tauranga, New Zealand, after travelling over 9,500 nautical miles.
In the last four months the ship underwent a refit in the Philippines and visited ports in the Philippines, the Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu to explore future ministry opportunities.
