Overview

This year, you will have the opportunity to experience the day-to-day life and culture of the Quilombo community. We will be working with one such community in the region of the Black Lage, located in the state of Bahia in northeastern Brazil. There are possibly 5,000 Quilombola communities in Brazil, formed in the last 200 years. Approximately 2,000 of These communities do not have missionaries present nor the presence of a church. Come and be a part of this experience que will change your life!
