Training School
The Discipleship Training School (YWAM DTS) offers six months of growing deeper with God and impacting the world, all in a community environment. Learn more about the DTS and find one that fits you.
Go on a Mission Trip
Whether your interest is construction, medicine, sports, arts, compassion, evangelism, or all of the above, YWAM has a mission trip for you. There are trips for families and children, programs for churches, and you can also go with your youth group or adult group.
Become a Volunteer
Spend some time building a house, designing a website, working on a ship, or doing one of hundreds of other jobs alongside YWAM’s full-time staff. YWAM’s Mission Builders ministry specializes in helping people volunteer with YWAM. You can also find a volunteer opportunity right on this site
Go long term
Opportunities for after you have done a Discipleship Training school, a core training of YWAM.
Specialized studies in YWAM’s University of the Nations.
YWAM offers everything from one-day seminars to University of the Nations degrees. Learn the Bible, counseling, performing arts, healthcare, missions, and much more. YWAM courses, often called “schools,” combine theory with practical application. They usually last between three and nine months.
For most YWAM training programs including seminars, a Discipleship Training School (YWAM DTS) is a prerequisite. If you are the parent of a prospective YWAM student, we have a page of parent resources for you.
Become YWAM staff
You can join staff for a couple of years, or stay for life. Grow in leadership, pioneer new ministries and grow established ones.
The DTS is the prerequisite to all our staff opportunities and is offered at over 600 locations around the world. Since YWAM does not pay its staff, most of our staff meet their financial needs by partnering with friends and churches.
