Overview

River - Jungle outreaches into the Amazon that include Medical, Dental and community development activities. The Saúde ao Seu Alcance Project was born more than 10 years ago at YWAM Alcance Amazônico with the objective of promoting integral health to riverine peoples, quilombolas and rural communities in the city of Abaetetuba. Services are provided by YWAM volunteers who are full-time and part-time volunteers (on specific days and times according to their availability). These volunteers are graduate professionals and students in the health area: nurses, nursing technicians, doctors, dental surgeons, who provide their services free of charge both at the institution's headquarters and on trips to the communities.
