Overview

Projeto Sertão aims to reach one of the 8 least evangelized segments of Brazil: the sertanejos. Through the Kingdom´s tranformational impact, we meant to restore the dignity and value of a people often forgotten by men, but always remembered by God. It all started with a desire to partner with the "End of biblical poverty" initiative. In 2021 we took a team of 39 people to serve in 11 villagesd, delivering bibles and evangelism. About 5000 people in 1200 homes have been reached. We also worked to revitalize a square, in partnership with local authorities, as well as engaging 80 children, providing leisure and entertainment, and teaching and supporting the local church, which has been a key partner in this work.
