Overview
Located in the South of Germany close to Munich and Augsburg, with nearby lakes and a view on the Alps mountains, the castle in Hurlach is the second base in the history of Youth With A Mission and was purchased by YWAM International in 1972 as a base for the evangelistic outreaches during the Olympic Games in Munich. Since then the castle was used to train and send countless young people into the nations. Today the Hurlach Castle is used as a retreat & training centre and base for outreaches and various ministries into Germany and the world, with a new geographical focus on Central & Southeastern Europe, especially the Balkans.
