The Youth Ministry elective is for those who are passionate about empowering and equipping teenagers to realise their potential and live a life of purpose! The Youth Ministry elective has outreach opportunities in both Australia and Papua New Guinea. In Australia, suicide is the biggest killer of Australian youth, and depression is on the rise. In Papua New Guinea, over half of the population are under the age of 20, but only 0.7% receive a university education. During outreach you may have the opportunity to work in high schools, help run mission trips specifically designed for teenagers, and work with other local youth organisations.
