“Child-Friendly Training” means the YWAM location offers both housing for families and programs for the children of students. In some Discipleship Training Schools, for example, while parents are learning the subject of the week, their children are taught an age-appropriate version of those concepts.
If you’re interested in a training program that is listed as Child Friendly, ask what kind of care they offer for your children.
Many YWAM locations that don’t offer special programs for the children of students are nevertheless very child friendly! If you’re interested in a training program or volunteer opportunity at a YWAM location that doesn’t list “Child Friendly” with its training programs, please ask them how they could accommodate your children.
